The Japanese film was shot in the most beautiful locations in Helsinki, including Sofiankatu at Torikorttelit.

Japanese romantic movie Snow Flower (Yuki no Hana) was filmed in beautiful Helsinki and Lapland landscapes, where the main character Yusuke fills her lifelong dream to visit Finland and see the Northern Lights.

Many of the shooting locations in Helsinki are located in the Torikorttelit area, a historical center of Helsinki in between the Market Square and Senate Square. Sofiankatu in Torikorttelit is truly one of the most beautiful streets in Helsinki. On the street, you can find an art-house movie theatre, a beer brewery, a vinyl record store, sake and wine bar, the oldest hat store in town and the only Neapolitan certificated pizzeria in Finland, just to mention some. You could easily spend an entire day at Sofiankatu only!
